Service Description

This intimate 8-week series unfolds over four 90-minute sessions, gently spaced every other week as an invitation to slow down, rest, and recover. The rhythm is unhurried and intentional, allowing your nervous system the time and space it needs to settle, integrate, and soften. Designed for 1–3 participants, this small-group setting offers a calm, supportive container where you are not rushed, watched, or expected to perform. Whether you attend alone or with friends, you are welcomed just as you are. Each person is supported in moving at their own pace, listening inward, and resting deeply. From an Ayurvedic perspective, ongoing stress is often at the root of imbalance. When vata is elevated, anxiety and overwhelm arise. When pitta is aggravated, irritation and reactivity take hold. Yin yoga gently supports both, inviting the body out of urgency and into steadiness, ease, and quiet presence. It also nourishes balanced kapha, cultivating groundedness, emotional safety, and inner support. Each session blends long-held yin postures with padabhyanga, the Ayurvedic practice of oiling and massaging the feet. This nurturing ritual draws energy downward, calms the nervous system, and awakens subtle healing points—marma points—through the body. The combination of slow, meditative movement and mindful touch helps the body remember how to feel held, resilient, and at home in itself. Rooted in seasonal wisdom, classes align with the meridians most active at that time of year, supporting harmony between body, mind, and nature’s rhythms. Nothing is required of you here. This is a space to simply remember what balance feels like. This is not about stretching more. It’s about restoring what has been depleted—so healing can happen at the root.
