Service Description
Usui Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing practice founded by Mikao Usui, supporting the mind, body, and spirit through subtle yet profound energetic balancing. Sessions are deeply calming and restorative, offering a safe space for the nervous system to soften and return to regulation. During a Reiki session, light touch or hands-off techniques are used to support the natural flow of energy, helping the body move out of stress and into rest, repair, and ease. Each session is unique and guided by what your system is ready to receive in the moment. --- PLEASE BE SURE TO COME WITH SOCKS ---- To close your treatment, your experience ends with Pada Abhyanga, a traditional Ayurvedic nourishing foot massage using warm herbal oils (often sesame) and focus on massaging feet, ankles, and calves to stimulate marma (vital) points. It acts as a holistic rejuvenating treatment to calm the nervous system, improve circulation, reduce stress and promote sound sleep. Usui Reiki Therapy is non-invasive, deeply supportive, and complements both medical care and other therapeutic modalities. At the heart of Usui Reiki are the Reiki Precepts—simple yet powerful intentions for mindful living and inner harmony. Cancellation Policy
APPOINTMENTS & SCHEDULING ✦ All appointments are scheduled directly through Patti Jo via email. No drop-ins, please. ✦ Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to ensure a calm, unhurried experience. FEELING UNWELL ✦ If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule private appointments as soon as possible. ✦ For group sessions, we kindly ask that you stay home and rest out of respect for everyone. LATE ARRIVALS ✦ Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time in consideration of those who follow. ✦ Depending on the length of the delay, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. PAYMENT ✦ Payment is due at the time of your appointment. ✦ Checks are not accepted. ✦ Venmo is accepted with a $5 service charge. ✦ A 10% discount is offered for advance payment (not applicable to Venmo). CANCELLATIONS ✦ A 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all appointments, except Shirodhara. ✦ Shirodhara appointments require 48 hours’ notice. ✦ Appointments canceled without proper notice will be charged in full. ✦ No-shows for classes or sessions are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. REFUNDS ✦ Full refunds are available for workshops, classes, or private sessions canceled at least 14 days in advance. ✦ Cancellations received 7–14 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund. ✦ No refunds are available within 7 days of a workshop, after a series or package has begun, or for services already rendered.
