Service Description

This intimate immersion, designed for 2–4 participants (or solo), unfolds over four 90-minute sessions, meeting every other week, giving you the space to slow down, integrate practices, and bring the teachings into daily life. Living a yogic lifestyle begins long before we step onto the mat—it begins in how we show up for ourselves, others, and the natural world. Yoga is so much more than our asanas (physical postures), the 3rd limb of yoga. Without the 1st two limbs—the Yamas and Niyamas—we are not fully practicing yoga, and without the 4th (Pranayama), 5th (Pratyahara), and 6th (Dharana) limbs, we cannot enter meditation, the 7th limb. This series brings the full spirit of yoga into focus, helping you embody yoga beyond postures into how you move, relate, and exist in the world. In this series, most of our attention will go to embodying the Yamas and Niyamas, the ethical roots of yoga. Through journaling, conscious breath (Pranayama), inner withdrawal of the senses (Pratyahara), and focused attention (Dharana), we cultivate a strong and stable foundation in all that yoga is. This foundation allows us to approach asana practice with loving-kindness and presence—honoring where we are in our bodies, preventing injury, and moving with greater awareness and ease. By practicing from this place of self-respect and mindfulness, we naturally support resilience, health, vitality, and happiness, allowing yoga to extend beyond the mat into how we care for ourselves and show up in the world. Guided journaling provides space to observe inner rhythms, reflect on experiences, integrate insights, and notice patterns between sessions. Like the elements—earth grounding, water softening, fire clarifying, air expanding, and ether holding—these practices support clarity, balance, and alignment in everyday life. Held in a small, intentional group, this immersion offers the safety and intimacy to explore, integrate, and embody yoga beyond the shapes on the mat—an ego-free practice to slow down, reconnect, and awaken the full spirit of who you are.
