During this 45 minute (virtual or in person) session, your child will be given the seeds needed navigate tody's stressful world and grow into a healthy and happy adult. PRIMARY FOCUS is on breathing and tools to reduce stress, calm the mind and body and promote better sleep and focus. TO PREPARE FOR VIRTUAL PRACTICE Prepare a space that warm, queit and free from distractions. Have a mat and plenty of blankets and pillows. BENEFITS OF MINDFUL YOGA: Introducing mindfulness into the lives of families, children and teens is one of the greatest gifts of love. Mindfulness builds emotional intelligence, boosts happiness, increases curiosity and engagement, reduces anxiety and depression, soothes the pain of trauma, and promotes greater focus, concentration and most importantly, the awareness to make healthier choices.
