WHAT IS I AM YOGA NIDRA? The Integrative Amrit Method of yoga nidra is an ancient sleep-based meditation technique that has the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body and being is permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness. I AM Yoga Nidra unlocks the mystical, integrative powers of the subconscious, as well as your higher centers of consciousness, to effortlessly erase your most tenacious, self-destructive habits and behavior patterns. I AM Yoga Nidra unlocks our internal pharmacy allowing our body to produce the chemicals (melatonin, serotonin, dopamine, etc) that are needed for health and happiness.. A 45 minute practice is equivalent to 3-4 hours of deep sleep. During your practice you will be lying comfortable on your back, supported in a way that allows you to be aboslutely still and quiet. HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR PRACTICE. If attending virtual, please be in a warm, quiet space that is free of distractions. If attending virtual, your zoom link will be sent to your email. WHAT DO YOU NEED? 2 blankets, pillows or bolster, socks and eye mask + anything else you know you need to be comfortable.
